Watercolor-People

  These displayed watercolors of people go back to the 1970s. Desert Rat, David McCoy, Ian Grant, Benny Benny and Faces were all very early. Up to 2002 I have avoided ding people because of an unfortunate experience I had painting two large pictures of my real estate mane and his wife in Ottawa. Her painting came out very well but he had asked me to change his eyes because he didn't like his own eyes and when I did the painting he was displeased. He paid me just fine and he said nothing about how he felt about the painting. Until one day in a very crowded restaurant he made a big fuss about it. So it took about ten years to out grow the embarrassment. They still frighten me somewhat but I find them gratifying anyway
