"BABY GREY WHALE"

I have a friend in Victoria named Michael Derry who is a seasoned fisherman. Years ago he was able to capture video tape of a mother Grey Whale and her calf. She was being attached by a group of adulterant Killer Whales. The Mom is submerged in the painting and you can see the calf.
The Killers were not successful but did make a gash in the baby's dorsal fin. The film is amazing and Mike proved to be both really competent  because being the Capitan, he refused to interfere and just let the Mother pin her baby against the hull of there vessel until the predators left the scene.
The painting was from that film.
