"KILLER WHALE"

 I painted this picture from a photo that a dear friend of my named Mike Derry had taken. Mike is in the fishing industry on the west coast out of Victoria B.C. I have a photo of him and his lovely wife Lori. click here. As the story goes, and it is backed up with actual video tape, a pod of killer whales were attacking a grey whale with her calf when Mike and his crew came upon them. The cow grey whale protected her calf but pinning it against the fishing boat hull. This video is absolutely amazing.
