"THE OLD PLUG"

Now this picture is one of many that I did using the idea of ground water. Here in New Mexico, water in not plentiful nor is it obvious for the most part. For example, I lived on the South 14 or also known as the 337 south of Tijeras just  minutes from Albuquerque. These mountains,  known as the Manzano Mountains are made up of limestone for the most parts. When you travel south up this road you will see the strata of the rock. It is in layers with shale between.
The melted snow and rain flow travels through this rock in what is known as loadic flow. I personally have witched a few wells successfully and the water is delicious.
The painting is an impression of this fact.
  The painting is approx.10"x14".
