CARNUEL AND CHILD,

I painted this Church in the early 2000. Albuquerque is just west of the Sandia and Manzano Mountains. The mountains are separated by a canyon. In this canyon is Carnuel. Route 66 passes through this canyon. On the South side of Route 66 this chapel is nestled in the trees. I lived in a converted Motel in Carnuel. The little girl is a child that lived next door to me. The painting measures approximately 14"x19"
