stained glass
Non Painted

The stained glass here that you see was done with the help of Jerry Eversole. The artwork copied was from an artist in Victoria BC named Tony Hunt. Tony is the grandson of a famous totem pole carver named Mungle Martyn. The artist you see to the right in the picture is Tony Hunt.
There are three way that I know of to assemble stained glass. The more traditional way is leaded. This is done by using lead came to hold the glass together then soldering it at each point. The next technique is a copper foil wrapping each piece of glass then soldering it all together. This technique was invented by Louis Comfort Tiffany and originally used to assemble Tiffany Lamps but was further used in flat glass work as well. The last technique is commonly known as Slab Glass which is assembled with apoxi resin.
I used the first two types and this photo shows Copper Foil Technique. Other pictures, below will have either or both techniques.
