"Iris Pink"

  This is a recent work for me, having just broken into oil painting. I just love Iris. When I lived in the east mountains natural Iris grew everywhere. I am not sure if they were planted at some time or if they were always there but they are the natural color of the original Iris.
  I had an extensive garden of these bloomers and they grow easily. This one is from my yard where I live now in Albuquerque.
  The painting is on canvas and measures 8"x10".
